Understand Suppabot plans, how to upgrade or downgrade, and how to manage add-ons and billing.

Plans & Billing

Suppabot offers three plans designed to scale with your business. All plans include core features — the differences are in the number of chatbots, message volume, and team seats.

Exact pricing is shown on the Suppabot pricing page. Yearly billing is available and saves approximately 17% compared to monthly.

What counts as a message: Each AI response to a visitor message counts as one message. Test Chat messages (from within the dashboard) do not count toward your quota.


Upgrading your plan

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the new plan.
  4. Confirm the change.

Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, then the new plan rate at the next renewal.


Downgrading your plan

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the lower plan.
  4. Confirm the change.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You continue to have access to your current plan's features until then. If your current usage exceeds the lower plan's limits (e.g. more chatbots than the lower plan allows), you will be prompted to remove the excess before the downgrade takes effect.


Add-ons

Add-ons are optional features billed monthly, separate from your base plan.

To add or remove an add-on, go to Dashboard → Billing → Add-ons.


Billing portal

Go to Dashboard → Billing → Manage Billing to access the Stripe billing portal. From there you can:

  • Update your payment method (credit card)
  • View and download past invoices
  • See upcoming charges
  • Cancel your subscription

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. After cancelling:

  • You keep full access until the end of your current paid period.
  • No further charges are made.
  • Your data (conversations, leads, knowledge base) is retained for 30 days after the period ends, then permanently deleted.

To reactivate, sign back in and select a plan. Your data will still be available if you reactivate within the 30-day window.


Message limit behavior

When you reach 100% of your monthly message quota:

  1. You receive an email notification.
  2. The chatbot continues to respond with a limited fallback message informing visitors that the chat is temporarily unavailable.
  3. You can immediately unblock by purchasing a message top-up or upgrading your plan.

You also receive a warning notification at 80% usage to give you time to act before hitting the limit.
