Invite teammates, assign roles, and manage access to your Suppabot workspace.

Team Management

Suppabot uses role-based access control to give the right people the right level of access. Each workspace (organization) can have multiple members with different roles.


Inviting members

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Members.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter the teammate's email address.
  4. Select their role (see role descriptions below).
  5. Click Send Invite.

The invitee receives an email with a link to join your workspace. If they do not have a Suppabot account, they can create one during the acceptance flow. The invite link expires after 7 days.


Roles

RoleDescription
OwnerFull access to everything — billing, settings, all chatbots, all data. The owner role cannot be removed and cannot be assigned to multiple members.
AdminFull access to all features except transferring workspace ownership. Admins can invite and remove other members, including other admins.
AnalystRead-only access to analytics, conversation transcripts, and leads. Cannot change any settings, view billing, or respond in the inbox. Ideal for team members who need reporting access only.
SupportCan view conversations and manage the human handoff inbox — claim requests, respond, and mark as resolved. Cannot change settings, view billing, or access the knowledge base.

Changing a member's role

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Members.
  2. Click the member whose role you want to change.
  3. Select a new role from the dropdown.
  4. Click Save.

Role changes take effect immediately.


Removing a member

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Members.
  2. Click the member you want to remove.
  3. Click Remove from workspace.
  4. Confirm the removal.

The member loses access immediately. They are not notified by email. Their activity history (conversations handled, etc.) is preserved in your dashboard.


Seat limits

The number of members you can have in a workspace depends on your plan:

If you reach your seat limit, you must upgrade your plan before inviting additional members. Go to Dashboard → Billing to upgrade. See Plans & Billing for plan details.


Transferring ownership

The owner role can only be transferred by contacting Suppabot support. This is intentional to prevent accidental ownership changes.

To request a transfer, email support@suppabot.com from the current owner's email address and specify which member should become the new owner.


Pending invites

Invites that have been sent but not yet accepted appear under Settings → Members → Pending Invites. You can:

  • Resend — sends a fresh invite email to the same address.
  • Cancel — invalidates the invite link immediately.

Multi-organization access

If a team member belongs to multiple Suppabot organizations (for example, an agency managing several client accounts), they can switch between organizations using the organization switcher in the top-left corner of the dashboard. Each organization has independent members, settings, and billing.
